Renee Rawding - Women's Basketball Junior forward Renee Rawding has been selected as this week's Female athlete of the week. Rawding has been Geneva's leading scorer all season and has helped the Golden Tornadoes out to a 12- 1 record, which marks the second best start in school history. This week, Rawding averaged 20 points in victories over Chatham College and Waynesburg University. In the victory over Chatham, Rawding was a perfect 8-8 from the foul line, all of which came in the second half to seal a 49-37 victory. On Saturday night, Rawding scored 20 points and was 4-6 from three point range in a 60-47 victory over Waynesburg. |

Bryan Hill - Men's Basketball For the second consecutive week Bryan Hill has been selected as the Male Athlete of the week. Hill continued his outstanding long range shooting with a combined ten three-point field goals in a pair of games last week. Hill was 4-10 from three point range with a team high 17 points in a loss at Hiram. On Saturday, Hill knocked down six three point fields, including four in the first three minutes, to lead Geneva past Waynesburg 86-72. Hill matched his career high with 31 points in the win over the Yellow Jackets. In addition to his long range shooting, Hill was 9-10 from the foul line to help seal the 86-72 victory. |
