Samantha Fisher – Basketball Samantha Fisher has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Fisher joined the Golden Tornadoes in December following a semester in Rome. Last week, she posted six points and six rebounds against Saint Vincent then grabbed nine rebounds and scored nine points against Washington & Jefferson. Fisher started her first game of the season on Saturday and played 34 minutes in a loss to the Presidents. |

Matt Lorello – Basketball Matt Lorello has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Lorello averaged 20 points in two PAC games last week while shooting a ridiculous 82% from the field. Lorello scored 21 points on Wednesday against Saint Vincent and was 9-13 from the field. He also pulled down eight rebounds in the loss. On Saturday, Lorello helped Geneva defeat W & J with 19 points and five rebounds. On Saturday, Lorello did not miss a shot in going 9-9 from the field for the game. For the season, Lorello is shooting 63% from the field. |
