Julia Urbanski – Indoor Track and Field Julia Urbanski has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Urbanski took advantage of her opportunity to compete at the national level at the NCCAA indoor championships. Competing in the 800 meter event, Urbanski finished 13th overall with the second fastest 800 meter time in Geneva women’s indoor history. With a final mark of 2:28.27, Urbanski was one of the major highlights for the Golden Tornadoes at the national event. |

Dan Dillman – Indoor Track and Field Dan Dillman has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Dillman put on a tremendous performance at the NCCAA national indoor track and field meet in the shot put event. Dillman finished fifth on the national stage and posted a Geneva’s best four point effort for the overall standings with a distance of 45 ft. 1.5 in. Dillman, who has recovered from a significant injury that kept him out of the football season, has returned in great form and put together Geneva’s top performance at the indoor nationals. |
