Women:

Ashley Davis – Softball

Sophomore – Infield R/R

Ashley Davis has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Davis has helped Geneva to a 5-5 start to the 2012 season. Geneva's shortstop is hitting .471 with a team best 16 hits, eight runs scored, eight RBI and a perfect 7-7 in stolen base attempts. Davis picked up five hits and four RBI in Geneva's doubleheader sweep on Saturday against Elms and Eastern Nazarene.

Men:

Joel Gatti - Baseball

Senior - Infielder/Catcher R/R
Lancaster, PA

Joel Gatti has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Gatti opened the 2012 baseball season in style. Playing primarily third base during Geneva's first week of action, Gatti has started the season on a hot streak. In the first eight games of the season, Gatti had 22 at-bats with a team best nine hits for a .409 batting average. He also posted five runs, two doubles and four RBI as the Golden Tornadoes opened the season with a record of 3-5.
