Sarah Davis – Track and Field Sarah Davis has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Davis qualified for the NCCAA national meet with a fifth place performance in the 10K race at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational. Davis posted a time of 41:45.13 in capturing four points for Geneva’s overall team results. She was one of three Geneva athletes that added their names to the national qualifying team in May. |

Mike Trn – Baseball Mike Trn has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Trn tossed a pair of complete game victories for the Golden Tornadoes this past week and moved his overall record to 4-1 on the season. Trn allowed just three hits in seven innings of work in Geneva’s 4-3 victory over W & J on Tuesday before throwing a five-hit complete game in a 4-3 win at Thiel on Saturday. Trn struck out three batters in the win at W & J as he posted a 3.21 ERA on the week. |
