Female:

Liz Michalak – Track and Field

Liz Michalak has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Michalak turned in three season best performances for Geneva at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational on Saturday. Finishing with a pair of top ten efforts, Michalak has season best results in the 100 meter hurdles, 100 meter dash and the pole vault. With a mark of 14.21 in the 100 meter dash Michalak finished ninth and posted a distance of 2.35 meters in the pole vault for a tenth place overall finish.

Monas Cunningham – Track and Field

Sprints/Hurdles

Monas Cunningham has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Cunningham turned in a pair of top five performances for Geneva at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational on Saturday. Cunningham finished third in the 110 hurdles and fourth in the 400 hurdles. He turned in a time of 16.17 in the 110 event and a mark of 58:42 in the 400 meter race. In both cases, Cunningham qualified for the NCCAA national track and field meet in May.
