Michawn Rich - Softball Michawn Rich has been selected as the Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Rich was 9-17 (.529) for the week and led the Golden Tornadoes to a doubleheader sweep over defending PAC champs Bethany College. Rich hit a pair of home runs in game two of that doubleheader to pace the offense. For the week, Rich scored four runs and knocked in three while also stealing three bases. |

Matt Baer - Baseball Matt Baer has been selected as the Male Student-Athlete of the Week. The sophomore lefthander moved to 5-1 on the season with an impressive victory over Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon. Baer went the distance and did not allow an earned run. He scattered eight hits and struck out three in helping the Golden Tornadoes secure a sweep over Saint Vincent. Baer has appeared in a team high eight games this year and has helped the Golden Tornadoes to their 15-7 overall record. |
