Julie DiLonardo – Softball Julie DiLonardo has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. DiLonardo was 3-1 in the circle for the Golden Tornadoes last week winning each of the three games for Geneva. She allowed just one run in a doubleheader sweep over Chatham while striking out 13 in the twin bill. She then picked up a victory in relief at Westminster on Saturday with 3.2 innings of scoreless work. For the season, DiLonardo is 11-5 with a 1.98 ERA. |

Mark Filtz – Track Mark Filtz has been selected as the male student athlete of the week. Competing at the John Homon Open at the University of Mt. Union over the weekend, Filtz added his name to the NCCAA national qualifying list. The freshman posted a distance of 41-05.75 in the triple jump to qualify for his first ever NCCAA national meet. |
