Julie DiLonardo – Softball Julie DiLonardo has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. DiLonardo was 3-0 in the circle for the Golden Tornadoes and allowed just two earned runs in 19 innings of work. On Saturday, the sophomore hurler pitched back to back shut-outs in helping Geneva sweep Westminster. She allowed just eight hits in the doubleheader as she picked up her 10th and 11th victories of the season. For the year, she is 11-7 with a 1.64 ERA. At the plate, she was 3-3 in game one against Westminster with two RBI’s. She is hitting .350 on the year. |

Dan Dillman – Track and Field Dan Dillman has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Dillman posted a season best performance for the Golden Tornadoes in the shot put at the Robert Morris University Invitational. He placed 4th overall with a season best distance of 43-11.75. He was also Geneva’s top finisher with a 13th place effort in the discus. Dillman has already qualified in the shot put for the NCCAA national meet in May. |
