Junior Amanda Munsch has been selected the female student-athlete of the week. Munsch led the Golden Tornadoes to a pair of victories over the weekend to begin the 2008 season. Munsch scored a goal in victories over LaRoche on Friday and Carlow on Saturday. The Golden Tornadoes defeated LaRoche 2-0 and Carlow 3-0 in a span of less than 24 hours. Those two victories matched the entire win total from the entire 2007 season for the women's soccer team.

David Callahan - Men's Soccer

Junior David Callahan has been selected this week's male student-athlete of the week. The junior transfer saw his first Geneva action on Saturday night at Cedarville and he posted his first career victory and shut-out in a 1-0 victory over Cedarville University. Callahan turned away five shots to earn the victory in front of almost 900 fans at Cedarville's home opener. Geneva's soccer team earned a split over the weekend after dropping a 2-1 decision to Wilmington on Friday night.
