Adriane Blake - Volleyball Adriane Blake has been selected as the female Student-Athlete of the Week. Blake led her team to four victories last week, including wins over Westminster, W & J, Thiel and Saint Vincent. Geneva's volleyball team is 9-3 on the season, including a seven match win streak. In 14 games last week, Blake had 59 kills (4.21/gm) and an impressive hitting percentage of .291. She also had 55 digs and five service aces in the perfect 4-0 week. |

Matt Weaver - Soccer Matt Weaver has been selected as the men's Student-Athlete of the Week. Weaver played the role of hero last Monday night with the overtime game winning goal in a 2-1 victory over LaRoche College. Just two minutes into the first overtime, Weaver managed to sneak the ball just over the goal line to give Geneva the victory. Weaver and his teammates continued their hot streak on Wednesday with a convincing 3-0 victory over Franciscan. Geneva has won six straight matches and is currently 6-1 on the season. |
