Shannon Rech – Cross Country Shannon Rech has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Rech and her women’s cross country teammates took first place at the Pitt-Greensburg Invitational over the weekend. Rech finished fourth overall with a time of 25:45 on the 6K course. She was one of four Geneva women that cracked the top ten to give the cross country team the victory outlasting 11 other schools. |

Bryan Visingardi – Football Bryan Visingardi has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Visingardi connected on a 41-yard field goal in overtime on Saturday to give the Golden Tornadoes their first victory of the season and their first ever PAC win. Visingardi made three field goals on Saturday and has connected on five field goals in the past two weeks. Against Saint Vincent, Visingardi made field goals from 23, 34 and 41 yards including the game winner. |
