Geneva's baseball team ended its Florida trip last Monday with a doubleheader sweep over Chestnut Hill College by scores of 2-1 and 10-1. Geneva pounded out 17 hits in the night cap, including a three-hit performance from freshman Jon Jurinko. Seven Golden Tornado players had at least two hits in the victory as Matt Lehman picked up his first victory on the mound. Geneva has won five straight games and sits at 5-3 on the season.

The softball team did not play any games last week and is holding steady at 4-6 for the season having won three of the last four games in Florida.

Geneva's track team did not compete last week and will look to officially open the 2008 season on on March 29.

Geneva's men's basketball team will have its season continue this week at the NCCAA national tournament. The Golden Tornaodoes open tournament play on Tuesday at 2 p.m. against top seeded Indiana Wesleyan. Geneva is guaranteed three games at Oakland City with the championship game scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday night.
