Information Systems

The information systems concentration prepares students to understand the connection between business practice and the data and computer systems that support an organization.  Students will explore areas such as data processing, hardward configurations, peripheral devices, systems analysis and the development of integrated computing systems.  Students interested in systems analyst careers often choose this concentration.

In addition to Geneva and business core classes, students in the information systems concentration take the following:

  • Introduction to Programming (CSC 101)
  • Database Systems (CSC 365)
  • Systems Analysis and Design (BUS 343)
  • IT Project Management (BUS 441)
