Coach Larry Bruno remembered

Larry Bruno

"Larry was a big help to me when I came to geneva in 1976. He coached our running backs for me in 1975 & 76. He was a wonderful friend and a great coach. He loved Geneva and every player at Monaca, Beaver falls and Geneva. Ruth and I will miss him."

- Gene Sullivan

"I remember when you did the color for our games back in the late 70's. You were a great coach and a greater man!"

- Al Hennon

"Coach was the biggest reason I choose Geneva College. He "ran" my parents and I all around campus during a recruiting visit making sure we saw everything that this school had to offer my development. I had offers from several other schools but chose Geneva due to his passion that Geneva was the place for me."

- Dave Nottingham, former player, Class of '90

"Coach Bruno will always be remembered as not only a great football coach, but an even greater person."

- George Auger, Football Class '87

"He was a role model for all of us. He was good to us but tough and disciplined."

- Paul Long, former football player
