Fall 2010 Honors Symposium
The staff at Geneva College’s Adult Degree Completion Program would like to invite you to attend the 2010 Honors Symposium on Friday, December 3, at 6:45 p.m. in Northwood Hall, Room 013. The symposium is held to recognize the students who have been awarded honors on their Applied Research Project (ARP) by allowing them to present their projects to faculty, staff and guests. Those attending will have an opportunity to watch two presentations and may also ask questions after each presentation.
The Honors Symposium provides an excellent opportunity for current and prospective students to become acquainted with the work that is required of them in the program. Dr. Ralph Phillips believes that exposure to the projects that have received honors gives beginning students an excellent model for their own project.
For more information, or to R.S.V.P, call the ADCP office at 1-800-576-3111.
On Saturday, October 23, students, alumni, colleagues and friends of the Adult Degree Completion Program and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program gathered for the professional seminar entitled, “How’s your eyesight? The real meaning of vision.” Geneva College professor Dr. John Stahl-Wert facilitated the discussions about biblical servant leadership as a foundation for vision in personal and professional situations. In addition to the seminar, attendants used the opportunity to network with others connected to Geneva College and the ADCP. If you missed this seminar, be sure to attend the next seminar in March 2011. More details to come.
