Telephone Services:
With prior arrangements, Conference Services will provide each resident's room with a telephone and voicemail.
- Phone Locations: Residence Halls
- McKee and Memorial: On the wall at the front entrance
- Pearce and Clarke: In the lounge of each building
- Apartments: In the lounge or in one designated apartment
- Phone locations: Payphones
- Alexander Hall: Near the Women's restroom on the top floor
- Student Center: Lower level
- To get an outside line, dial "9" first
- If you are calling within the "724" area code, dial only "9" and the 7-digit phone number. For example 9-1-800-222-2222.
To make long distance telephone calls, a phone card is needed. Some "724" calls are also considered long distance and will require a phone card.
ID Cards:
- Used for:
- Entrance into residence halls - Slide card with black stripe down through the scanner located next to each entrance.
- Meals - Hand card to Cafeteria staff member as you enter the dining hall.
- $10 fee for any lost ID cards
- $2 fee for damaged ID card.
Room Codes: The room code given at resistration opens the door to your room.
- Numbers should be pushed in sequence
- A slash between two numbers means that they should be pushed at the same time.
- If the code doesn't work, turn the doorknob to "clear" the lock and try again. Pushing the numbers slowly may help.
Street Sweeping: To avoid tickets, all cars parked on College Avenue be moved by midnight on Wednesday.
