Israel - Archaeology & Geography

BIB 491/HUM 304

Experience the Bible with a hands-on approach by studying and traveling to Israel.  In this course you will learn about archaeology in general as well as specific archaeological sites in Israel.  You will also study the history and geography of Israel.  As you explore archaeology, study history, and learn geography you will also reflect on their practical implications for reading and understanding Scriptures.

This course will take place during the fall semester of odd numbered years (Fall 2007, Fall 2009, etc.).  The course meets one evening a week on campus for the entire fall semester and then culminates with a twelve day trip to Israel over Christmas break.
