Trip To Israel

Current Geneva students, alumni and friends of the college are invited to join us on a study tour to Israel

From December 27, 2013 to January 6, 2014 led by Geneva College Bible Department professors Dr. Byron Curtis, Dr. Scott Shidemantle and Dr. Jonathan Watt. An optional three-day extension to Jordan is also available, with participants returning January 9, 2014.

Current Geneva students: The course, BIB 341/HUM 304 “Archaeology and Geography of Ancient Israel”, is a three-credit course that meets Monday evenings during the fall 2013 semester and culminates in the trip to Israel over Christmas Break. Students do not have to take the course to go on the trip. For course information, please contact Dr. Scott Shidemantle at sshidema@geneva.edu

Geneva Alumni and Friends: Geneva College alumni and friends are cordially invited to join us on the study trip to Israel. All alumni and friends who put down a deposit for the Israel trip prior to September 2013 are also invited to audit for free the “Archaeology & Geography of Ancient Israel” course team-taught by Drs. Scott Shidemantle and Jonathan Watt during the fall 2013 semester. This on-campus course will meet on Monday evenings. For more specific information about either the trip or the course, please contact Dr. Scott Shidemantle at sshidema@geneva.edu

Cost: $2,969 for Israel only. The Jordan extension is an additional $919.

Deposits are due by September 13, 2013, with the final balance due October 25, 2013.
