English composition with C- or higher
Human services major-
Introduction to Psychology with a C- or higher
Abnormal Psychology and Introduction to Sociology will be requirements for participation in the field experience and internship component. These courses must be completed by the end of term two. In addition, you must have 90 semester credit hours or senior status to participate in the field experience and internship component.
Core Requirements--all majors
Humanities, six credits--A study of literary, visual, and musical arts in a historical and intellectual context

- World literature
- European history and Western civilization
- Music appreciation and history
- Introduction to or history of philosophy
- History of theater
Natural science, six credits--Can be three semester hours of science and three semester hours of math
Options:
- Biology
- Chemistry

- Earth space and physical science
- College-level math, minimum of two years of high school algebra
- Statistics
Social science, three credits--Must be an introductory level, survey course
Options:
- Economics
- U.S. history
- Psychology

Graduation Requirements

Community ministry
- Old Testament survey, three credits. Must be approved by Geneva College
- New Testament survey, three credits. Must be approved by Geneva College
- A total of 126 credits. Other than core and major requirements, all other credits count as electives
Human resources

Organizational development
- Social science, three credits in addition to the six required in the core. Can be an introductory level, survey course or an upper level course
- Accounting principles, three credits. A course that focuses on corporate budgets, finance or economics

Students must have prior approval of the Geneva College registrar to enroll in any course.
