Rev. Edward Donnelly of Trinity Reformed Presbyterian Church in Belfast, Northern Ireland, will speak as part of the Reformation Day celebration at Geneva College. He will preach on “Christianity — Reformed or Deformed?” in a joint Reformation Day service held on Sunday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m. in John H. White Chapel. Donnelly will also speak on “The Mystery of the Kingdom” in Geneva’s chapel service on Wednesday, October 21, at 10:10 a.m.

Donnelly was ordained as a Reformed Presbyterian minister in 1968. He has ministered at Trinity Reformed Presbyterian Church since 1975, and his other pastorates have included the congregations of Dervock and Glenmanus, both in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Donnelly also has worked with the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America as a missionary pastor in Cyprus.

Donnelly serves as Principal and Professor of New Testament for Reformed Theological College in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is the author of Peter, Eyewitness of His Majesty and Heaven & Hell (Banner of Truth). He is currently writing two more books.

A graduate of Queen`s University Belfast and the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Donnelly also earned his M.Th. in historical theology from Queen’s University.
