This is a 1/10 scale model of our current design with an altered, rounded hull.  It was made using a molded polyethylene shell with auto body filler.

We tested it in our tow tank to find wave drag at various velocities.

Other options for hull design include:

  • Catamaran Hull
  • Displacement/Planing Hull

Solenoids are used during the sprint mode to alternate between two speeds, switching between 24 V and 36 V.
