Current Happenings in the Department – Fall 2011

Dr. Esther Meek’s book Loving to Know: Covenant Epistemology was released June 2011 to rave reviews.

Dr. Byron Curtis has the honor of serving this Fall 2011 semester, during his sabbatical, as a visiting professor at the Jerusalem University College in Israel. He will return to Geneva as Professor of Bible during the Spring 2012 semester.

Dr. Scott Shidemantle and Dr. Jonathan Watt are team-teaching the Archaeology and Geography of Israel course this semester, which culminates in taking students on a study tour of Israel over Christmas Break (December 27, 2011 thru January 7, 2012). This is the fourth time this course and its travel component have been taught at Geneva.
