  • Senior Research Principal at Western Psychiatric Clinic, which is affiliated with UPMC, where I have been involved with clinical research for 23 years. Currently, I serve on the national study called National Consortium on Alcohol and NeuroDevelopment in Adolescence. This research study is a part of the multi-site national consortium, which is attempting to learn more about mental abilities and brain development in adolescent and young adults.
  • Board Member of the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors
  • Chair Faculty Advisor for Chi Sigma Iota, the international honorary society for counselors
  • Board member on the Christian Counseling Collaborative, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the availability of Christian counseling in the greater Pittsburgh area
