  • Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh.  Member since 1994. Served on a variety of Science Outreach committees as well as Chair of the Scholarships and Grants Committee (2006-2007) and Chair of the Pittsburgh Analytical Chemistry Award (2007-2008).

  • Phi Lamda Upsilon Honorary Society, Xi Chapter, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.  Member since 1995.  Vice-President, 1995 - 1996.  Secretary, 1996 - 1997.  Organized activities for incoming graduate students.  Organized the Phillips Lecture, a two day lectureship.

Point of Excellence

Geneva engineering students compete in national competitions including the Solar Splash, Steel Bridge Building and the Society of Automotive Engineers Baja Competition.
