All students seeking federal, state and institutional financial assistance including loans, grants, and work-study, must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA should be filed electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The priority FAFSA filing deadline for the traditional undergraduate program at Geneva College is March 15. For all other programs, file no later than one to two months before the program begins. Awards will be made as long as funds are available.
FAFSA Tips
- Apply early making sure all deadlines are met.
- Fill out forms completely and accurately.
- Double check that your Social Security number is correct.
- List Geneva College (Title IV Code 003267) in the school section of the FAFSA. This will allow us electronic access to your information.
- When completing the FAFSA on the Web, you will need to apply for a PIN in order to sign the application. If the student is dependent, both the student and one parent must apply for a PIN.
- File your tax returns as early as possible. If your US income tax returns will not be completed before April 15, you may use estimated income when completing the FAFSA.
- Respond quickly to requests for additional information.
