Mike Sirney is no stranger to Reeves Field and the Geneva football program. Sirney roamed the field as offensive lineman in 2007 to the 2010 season. Graduating from Geneva with a major in business, Sirney found his way back into the football program last season as a volunteer assistant coach and is now a full-time assistant coach working with the offense entering into the 2014 season.
Head Coach Geno DeMarco commented, “Mike has served as a volunteer after his playing days. As a player, he impressed the coaches with his maturity, leadership and ability to mentor the younger lineman. Mike was a highly efficient player, starting on our NCCAA championship team. As a coach he has refined these strengths and we are pleased to have him on the GT staff.”
Mike and his wife, Shannon, reside in Wexford, PA with their son, Jaxson.
