Barry Emge

Joining Geneva’s staff in 2004 was another familiar face and name. Barry Emge will be coaching Geneva’s receiving core in 2007 as he continues to follow in the footsteps of his brother, Mike, who was a fixture on Geneva’s coaching staff in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

A Geneva graduate, Emge enjoyed a stellar career as a wide receiver for the Golden Tornadoes. In fact, Emge earned Academic All-American honors in 1986 and 1987 and was named to Geneva’s Top 100 from 1976-2000.

Currently, Emge works as an air traffic controller at Pittsburgh International Airport when he is not coaching.

He and his wife, Ann, reside in Chippewa Township with their three kids: Matthew, Jake and Emily.
