Grad Finale 2013

Monday, March 25

11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Benedum Room

Congratulations Graduates! As you prepare for Commencement, please plan to attend Grad Finale. This event is designed to provide you with everything you need to know and do before you move on from your days at Geneva.

Campus Store:  Pick up your cap and gown. After Grad Finale, caps and gown will be available in the Bookstore until April 19. If you are unable to pick up your cap and gown by April 19, please make arrangements for someone to pick them up for you or to have them shipped to your home.

Office of Alumni Relations:  Place reservations for the Sr. Dinner and register for the Geneva online community.

Office of Events:  Pick up graduation tickets, order Commencement video, request special services.

Business Office:  Check your student account balances.

Financial Aid:  At our table, we will confirm that you have completed Direct Loan Exit Counseling online at www.nslds.ed.gov and answer any questions you may have about loan repayment. You will also have the opportunity to schedule an individual meeting to discuss your personal loan repayment plan with the Financial Aid Office.

Registrar:  Commencement information; verify that data regarding majors, concentrations and minors is correct; verify that the name to appear on your diploma is correct, make sure your name is pronounced correctly.

Jostens:  Order graduation announcement, graduation products and class rings.

Career Development:  Information on job search, resumes, interviewing, grad school and employment opportunities. You will also be asked to complete a pre-grad survey.


 

Point of Excellence

Geneva is the first college in the country to offer a five-year B.S. /M.S. degree in cardiovascular science technology through Inova Heart and Vascular Institute in Virginia.
