Medical Excuse Policy

The Health Services Department does not write notes or excuse you from academic obligations. If you do not feel well, visit the Health Services Department so an assessment can be made, treatment given, and a record of the illness charted. Professors may then call to confirm the visit. Health Service clinicians will verify prolonged or serious illnesses to faculty members with consent from the student. Due to confidentiality policies, the nature of the problem cannot be discussed without the consent of the student.
