New student immunizations and admission health exam
All new students are encouraged to have a medical exam prior to beginning their career at Geneva College. Students are required to submit proof of required immunizations. Required vaccinations include the following:

Tetanus-Diphtheria

Toxoid (initial series) then,

Tetanus every 10 years

Polio

2 doses of measles vaccine if born after Jan.1, 1957. (You may also submit laboratory proof of immunity.
Meningococcal (Groups A,C,Y, and W-135) Polysaccharide Diphtheria Toxoid Conjugate Vaccine (Menactra): In accordance with the state of Pennsylvania's College and University Vaccination Act, all college resident students must either be vaccinated for meningitis or sign a waiver form stating their reasons for not receiving the vaccination.
We encourage you to consider other immunizations like varicella and hepatitis A, B. Please discuss these with your primary care physician. The physical examination form is available through the admissions office.
