Homecoming Schedule
8:30 a.m.  Registration  Old Main Lawn 
 

All alumni and parents are asked to stop at the registration tent to check in and pick up any necessary information or tickets.  

8:30 a.m.   25-Year Reunion Breakfast  Presidents’ Dining Room 
 

Members of the class of 1985 and their families are encouraged to start the day off by reconnecting with former classmates. Reservations required. Cost: $8/person. 

9-11 a.m.  Campus Tours  Alexander Hall, lower lobby 
 

Visit the Office of Enrollment Services if you would like to learn more about Geneva. Appointments are required. Register by October 1 online or 800-847-8255.  

10 a.m.-12 p.m.  Academic Reception  Old Main Lawn 
 

Current and former faculty and staff will be available at the registration tent to greet you as you return to campus. Look for the schedule in the registration tent to find out who will be on hand.  

10 a.m.-4 p.m.  College Hill Festival  Pedestrian Mall 
 

Artisans, vendors, live music and great food come together to make this a day of fun on Geneva’s campus. Open to the public.  

10 a.m. Cultural Performances Old Main Lawn

Join the "Into All the World" celebration by checking out a wide selection of local groups displaying their various skills and talents. Check the registration tent for specific group times.

10 a.m.-3:p.m.  Into All the World Tent  Library Lawn 
 

Take time to walk through our display tent and explore the various ways that Geneva has gone “Into All the World”.  

10 a.m. Musical Performances Memorial Lawn

Come listen to great music by some of our area’s most talented musicians. Check the registration tent for specific group times.

11 a.m. Baseball Reunion Baseball Field

Alumni Baseball team members are invited to join with our current baseball team for an alumni game followed by a cookout. Please RSVP to Alan Sumner at awsumner@geneva.edu with the number attending and your t-shirt size.

11:15 a.m. Alumni Luncheon Alexander Hall

This is a special time for all alumni. Classes of '80, '85, '90, '95, '00, and '05 will have designated tables so members can join together over lunch. President Ken Smith will give a brief campus update. Reservations are required. $10/person

12:30-3:30 p.m. It’s a Small World McKee Lawn

Kids are invited to enjoy games, balloons, face painting and a petting zoo.

1 p.m.  McCartney Library 80th Birthday Celebration  McCartney Library 

Tune your ears at 1 p.m. and listen for the sound of the carillon as McCartney Library celebrates its 80th Birthday.

1 p.m. Reunion Photos Benedum Room

Members of the classes of ’80, ’85, ’90, ’95, ’00, and ’05 come to the Benedum Room to have your class photo taken.

1 p.m. Tennis Match Beaver Falls High School
 

Come cheer on the Tennis team as they face Pitt-Bradford.  

1:30 p.m. Golden Tornado (ages 60+) Reunion McCartney Library, West Reading Room

Members of our “golden” alumni are encouraged to stop by the library and get reconnected with former classmates and friends. Reservations required.

1:30 p.m. Josh Guthrie Remembrance Old Main Lawn

We will be remembering the life of Joshua Guthrie '08 and celebrating the legacy he has left. For more information about Josh visit www.thejoshuacelebration.com.

3:30 p.m. Pregame Homecoming Crowning Ceremony Reeves Field

Witness the crowning of the 2010 Homecoming king & queen, as well as the musical talents of Geneva’s marching band.

4 p.m. Football Game: Geneva vs. Waynesburg Reeves Field

Support the Golden Tornadoes as they play the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets. The Alumni Band will perform at half-time. Purchase tickets at the registration area on Old Main lawn or at the Reeves Field ticket booth before the game. Tickets are $5 adults; $3 college student, Child (12 and under), or senior citizen. (NOTE: Geneva students are free with ID).
