Homecoming Schedule
8:30 a.m.  Registration  Student Center 
 

All alumni and parents are asked to stop at the registration tent to check in and pick up any necessary information or tickets.  

8:30 a.m.   25-Year Reunion Breakfast  Presidents’ Dining Room 
 

Members of the class of 1986 and their families are encouraged to start the day off by reconnecting with former classmates. Reservations required. Cost: $8/person. 

9-11 a.m.  Campus Tours  Alexander Hall, lower lobby 
 

Campus tours will leave from the Office of Enrollment Services every 15 minutes for those who would like to learn more about Geneva. Admissions Counselors will also be available to meet with prospective students after the campus tour. Please register by contacting the admissions office at admissions@geneva.edu or 800-847-8255.

10 a.m.-4 p.m.  College Hill Festival  Pedestrian Mall 
 

Artisans, vendors, live music and great food come together to make this a day of fun on Geneva’s campus. There will also be an opportunity for you to have your picture taken with a genuine DeLorean (weather permitting)! Open to the public.  

10 a.m. Community Stage Skye Lounge

Join the “Back to the Future” celebration by checking out a wide selection of local groups displaying their various skills and talents. You won’t want to miss it! Check the registration tent for specific group times.

10 a.m. Memorial Stage Old Main Lawn
 

Come listen to great music by some of our area’s most talented musicians. Check the registration tent for specific group times.

10 a.m. Tennis Reunion Gathering Northwood 013

Join with fellow tennis alumni to share memories and updates. Please RSVP to Mandee Craft at mandee_craft@hotmail.com with the number attending and your t-shirt size.

9:45 a.m. Soccer Games and Reunion Reeves Field

Alumni soccer team members are invited to watch our women’s and men’s soccer games and enjoy a reunion cookout. The women’s soccer game will be at 9:45 a.m., followed by the men’s soccer game at 12 p.m. The cookout will begin at 11:30 a.m. Please RSVP to Linda Sumner at lnsumner@geneva.edu with the number attending and your t-shirt size.

11:30 a.m. Alumni Luncheon Alexander Hall

All alumni, including returning New Song alumni and the reunion classes of ’81, ’86, ‘91, ‘96, ‘01 and ’06 are invited to enjoy lunch with classmates and faculty members. Join us to reflect on how today’s Geneva is different than the Geneva of yesterday and what is planned for the Geneva of tomorrow. Wendy (Schwedler ’91) Allman and Joyce Lynn ’61 will be presented with the Geneva College Distinguished Service Award. Reservations are required. $10/person, $5 for children under 12.

12:30-3:30 p.m. Kid Zone The Brig

Kids are invited to enjoy games, balloons, face painting and a petting zoo.

1 p.m. Reunion Photos Benedum Room

Members of the classes of ’81, ’86, ’91, ’96, ’01, and ’06 come to the Benedum Room to have your class photo taken.

1-3 p.m. Alumni Baseball Game Baseball Field
 

Alumni baseball team members are invited to join with our current baseball team for an alumni game. Please RSVP to Alan Sumner at awsumner@geneva.edu with the number attending.

1:30 p.m. Golden Tornado (ages 60+) Reunion McCartney Library, West Reading Room

Members of our “golden” alumni are encouraged to stop by the library and get reconnected with former classmates and friends. Reservations required.

2 p.m. New Song Concert John White Chapel

Returning New Song alumni and current New Song members will be holding a concert in John White Chapel. Please come enjoy this special time with them! No ticket required. John White Chapel is not handicap accessible.

3:30 p.m. Pregame Homecoming Crowning Ceremony Reeves Field

Witness the crowning of the 2011 Homecoming king & queen, as well as the musical talents of Geneva’s marching band.

4 p.m. Football Game: Geneva vs. St. Vincent Reeves Field

Support the Golden Tornadoes as they play the Bearcats. Tickets can be purchased the day of Homecoming at the registration tent on Old Main lawn until 4 p.m. and will also be available at the ticket box before the game. Tickets are $5 adults; $3 college student, child (12 and under), or senior citizen. (Geneva students are free with ID).
