International Student Application Requirements


In assessing your potential for success at Geneva, academic capabilities, as well as involvement in church, school and community activities are considered. The application process is designed as a tool for making these assessments of each student. Each application is considered on an individual basis; so we encourage you to provide any additional information you feel would be useful as an admission decision is made.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The following items must be submitted before an admission decision can be made:

  1. Application for Admission. Complete the application for admission in its entirety. Undergraduate Application 

  2. International Student Information. Complete the form.

  3. Application Fee. A non-refundable application fee of $40(U.S.) must accompany the application. A bank draft or money order should be made payable to Geneva College.

  4. Financial Affidavit. Complete the form.

  5. Official Transcripts. You must provide official transcripts from all educational institutions you have attended. These transcripts must be officially translated into English and must be sent directly from the school(s). If you received post-secondary education then all university transcripts must be evaluated by WES and submitted. 

  6. Academic Recommendation. You are required to supply at least one letter of reference from an individual (non-relative) who is familiar with your academic background.

  7. Test Scores Results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) must accompany your application for admission. Acceptable TOEFL scores for admission are 550 (paper based) or higher or 213 (computerized) or higher or 79 (IBT - internet) or higher. If English is your first language then the SAT or ACT is required.

  8. Other Test Scores. Certified results of the standard examination for entry into higher education in your own country (if applicable) must accompany your application for admission. A minimum of six passes at the Ordinary Level (O-Level) of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) is required for admission.

ジェネヴァ大学への入学をお考えの方は、学問能力、教会とのつながり、また共同体とのつながりでの活動(ボランティア活動、グループ活動、サークル活動、チーム活動等)の情報を私共に提供して頂く必要があります。これらは各生徒を見極めるために行っています。申請書は個人別に記録されますので、入学書類を準備する際に役立ちそうな情報を記入することをお勧めします。

入学手続きの必要書類

以下の項目が入学手続きの際に必要な書類です。これらの書類を基に入学決定の判断が下されます。

1. 入学の申請書

空欄のところはできるだけ多く埋めてください。Undergraduate Application

2. 大学への入学希望者の情報 Complete the form

3. 申入金

申請書と共に申入金$40(米ドル)をお送りください。この申入金は返済されません。銀行為替手形または現金はジェネヴァ大学へ届くように送金してください。

4. 金融の宣誓供述書 Complete the form

5. 学業成績証明書

学校から出される正式の学業成績証明書を提供しなければなしません。これらの学業成績証明書は英語で書かれていて、また在籍された学校の方から直接ジェネヴァ大学へご送付下さい。学士号以上の学位を持っている方は大学の成績証明書をWESから審査を受け、ご提出下さい。

6. 学業推薦状

入学希望者は希望者の学業について精通している個人(家族以外)からの手紙を最低一通提出しなければなりません。

7. テストスコア

TOEFL (the Test of English as a Foreign Language)の結果は入学申請に必須です。入学許可に受諾しうるTOELのスコアはPBTでは最低550点、CBTでは最低213点、IBTでは最低79点です。もし英語が第一言語(母国語)ならSATやACTの提出が求められます。

8. 他のテストスコア

センター試験の結果をお持ちでしたら、それも入学許可事務局にご提出下さい。The General Certificate of Education (GCE)を受けた方はthe Ordinary Level (O-Level)で最低六つの項目での合格が要められます。

제네바 대학교에서 성공적인 학업을 위한 당신의 잠재성을 심사 하기 위하여, 학업 능력뿐만 아니라, 교회 신앙 생활, 학교 및 지역 사회 활동의 자료가 요구 됩니다.  전형 과정은 각 학생들의 제출 서류가 심사 기준이 됩니다.  제출된 서류들은 개별적으로 심사 되므로, 입학 선발에 유용하다고 생각하는 정보는 되도록 자세히 기록하여 제출하여 주시기 바랍니다.

전형 서류 제출

이하 항목은 입학 선발 결정이 되기 전에 반드시 구비 되어야 할 서류입니다.

1. 입학 원서 접수

입학 원서는 빠짐없이 기록 합니다. Undergraduate Application

2. 외국인 지원자 정보 Complete the form

3. 입학 전형료

원서는 반드시 전형료($40, 환불 불가)와 함께 접수 하셔야 합니다. 전형료는 은행환어음(bank draft) 이나 우편환으로(money order) 제네바 대학교로 직접 보내야 합니다.

4. 재정 보증서 Complete the form

5. 학업 성적 증명서

       지원자가 다녔던 모든 교육 기관의 성적 증명서를 제출해야 합니다. 모든 성적 증명서는 영어로 작성되어야 하며, 출석한 학교에서 직접 대학교로 보내야 합니다. 학사 이상의 학위를 소지하신 지원자는 모든 대학교의 증명서를 WES 에서 심사를 받아 제출해야 합니다.

6. 학업 능력 추천서

지원자의 학업 배경에 대해 잘 하는 개인(친척 외)의 추천서(최소 한 장)를 제출해야 합니다.

7. TOEFL 점수

입학 원서 접수 시에 TOFEL 결과도 함께 제출하셔야 합니다. 입학 허락 가능한 TOFEL 점수는 PBT 550 이상, IBT 79 이상, CBT 213 이상입니다. 영어가 모국어인 지원자는 SAT 혹은 ACT 점수를 제출해 주십시오.

8. 기타 시험 결과

각종 능력 검정 시험 결과 증명서가 있으면, 입학 원서 지원서와 함께 제출해 주십시오. The General Certificate of Education 시험 평가를 받은 지원자는 the Ordinary Level (O-Level) 에서 최소 6과목을 통과하여야 입학이 됩니다.
