Annual Jazz Band Concert

The Geneva College Stage Band will present In the Mood XII at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 14. This year’s repertoire will include everything from “Blues on the Double” and “Strike Up the Band” to “Here Comes Santa Claus” and “Get Me to the Church on Time.”

Other selections from the big-band music of the 1930s and 1940s at this 12th annual concert will be “Anything Goes,” “Bugle Call Rag,” “Early Autumn,” “In the Mood,” “Jeep Jockey Jump,” “Moonlight Serenade,” “Oh, You Beautiful Doll,” “Star Dust,” “Summertime,” “The Nearness of You” and “You Make Me Feel So Young.”

Tickets for the event, held in the John H. White Chapel in Old Main, are $6 for adults and $3 for students.
