Dr. Greg Beale is a professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Prior to Westminster, he was the chair of Biblical studies and professor of New Testament at Wheaton College. He has written particularly in the area of the use of the Old Testament in the New, Pauline studies, Eschatology, Biblical Theology, and Apocalyptism. His publications include The Erosion of Inerrancy in Evangelicalism: Responding to New Challenges to Biblical Authority, We Become Like What We Worship: A Biblical Theology of Idolatry, A Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament, The Temple and the Church’s Mission: A Biblical Theology of the Dwelling Place of God, and The Use of Daniel in Jewish Apocalyptic Literature and in the Revelation of St. John.
Dr. Beale received both his B.A. and M.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He received his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England.
