By simply clicking on the link provided on the athletic web page, followers of Geneva athletics will be able to watch games live via the internet.
Tourbeau Sports Group has become a digital leader in the sports media industry via live, video streaming over the internet. TSG specializes in providing high-quality media streaming via the internet for sporting events across the United States. “We are extremely excited about this partnership,” says Geneva College athletic director Dr. Kim Gall. “It has taken a lot of hard work and some patience, but we feel as though the time has come to get on board with video streaming. Many thanks go out to Tim Edris (Geneva College assistant men’s soccer coach) for researching and following through with the entire process and set-up.”
“Understandably there may be a glitch or two to work out along the way but having the capability to watch games live on the internet is an extremely important piece of our athletic puzzle which also includes recruiting potential student-athletes.”
The first go round for live video streaming will come on September 1 for the women’s soccer season opener against Penn-State Beaver at 7 p.m. Two days later, the Geneva College football team will be on display for its season opener against Frostburg State beginning at 7 p.m.
