Shaw and Geneva End Season in Style

Beaver Falls, PA – Rebecca Shaw and the Geneva College women’s soccer team finished the 2011 season on a very high note with back to back 4-0 victories over Chatham and Thiel. The Golden Tornadoes finished the season with a 6-12-1 overall record including a 2-7 mark in the PAC.

Becca Shaw helped the Golden Tornadoes win their last two regular season games by posting a pair of goals against Chatham and another tally in the victory over Thiel. For her efforts, Shaw was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference offensive player of the week.

For the season, Shaw finished as Geneva’s second leading goal scorer with seven goals while Maura Allen led the team with nine goals on the year.
