Julie DiLonardo – Softball Julie DiLonardo has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. DiLonardo won four games in the circle for the Golden Tornadoes last week and in doing so became Geneva’s all-time leader in pitching victories. She allowed 11 earned runs in 38 innings of work during the week for an ERA of 2.03. She also struck out 36 batters in those 38 innings of work. At the plate, she drove in both runs in a 2-1 victory over Stevens Institute. She was 6-15 at the plate for an average of .400. |

Mike Jeffreys - Baseball Sophomore - Pitcher Mike Jeffreys has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Jeffreys took the mound twice last week and won both outings to improve to 3-0 for the season. In Geneva’s victory over Bethany, Jeffreys pitched a complete game and allowed just three hits and three earned runs while striking out six. He posted an eight strikeout effort in a shut-out victory over Houghton on Friday. For the week, Jeffreys posted a 1.93 ERA. |
