Geneva Cyprus Trip |
According to our State Department, “internationally, Cyprus promotes its geographical location as a ‘bridge’ between three continents, along with its educated English-speaking population, moderate local costs, good airline connections, and telecommunications. The Cypriots are among the most prosperous people in the Mediterranean region.”
Our Geneva connection to Cyprus can be traced to the development of the American Academy in Larnaca, founded in 1908, by R. P. missionaries, who later founded an American Academy in Nicosia. A number of Geneva alumni have served as administrators and teachers. Geneva alumni have also graduated from the academies.
