“I am currently President of Geneva Women and on the Geneva Alumni Council (former Secretary) and a member of the Geneva Alumni Band.
I am active in my church, New Brighton United Methodist church, serving as chair of the Administrative Council, Lay Leader, Lay Liturgist, served on the merger committee of the 3 United Methodist churches in New Brighton, usher, an officer for the United Methodist Women, belong to a Bible Study on the Women of the Bible, and belong to New Brighton Christian Women.
In the community I am on the Board of Directors of the Beaver Valley Community Concerts Association, on the United Way Allocation Committee, served as secretary to the Drug and Alcohol Services of Beaver Valley Board, and am a member of the Merrick Art Gallery Associates. Other organizations I belong to are the American Association of University Women and Outlook.
I am interested in Genealogy and tracing my roots to the Civil War and Revolutionary War and belong to Genealogy and Historical groups.
My husband, Wilbert (Bill) is a 1963 graduate of Geneva. Our song Greg, class of 1995, works in the public relations department at Geneva. He and his wife, Leslie, met at Geneva. Our grandsons, Jonah and Keegan, are future Geneva students! In our spare time we enjoy traveling and seeing the country.
After starting employment with the Department of Welfare as a caseworker in 1996 at the Beaver County Assistance Office, I retired as one of the Administrators in 1997 after 30 years of service.”
