Geneva College

How do I access the databases from off-campus?

Step One:

Select the database of your choice from the Databases page.

(Please note that databases that say available on campus only are not accessible using these instructions. You will need to visit the Geneva College campus to use these databases).

Step Two:

You should arrive at a page that resembles the one below.

argh.jpg

Enter your 9-digit Library barcode number and your last name in the box on the left, and click on the Login button. Your Library barcode number is your Geneva College ID number, which is the number printed on your Geneva College ID card. If the number on your card is only 7-digits long, add 2 zeros (00) to the beginning of your number when you enter it. Ignore the box on the right.

Please contact the reference librarian at ref.lib@geneva.edu or 724-847-6764 if you still can't log on after following these instructions, or if you have further questions.

Return to the databases page.
