Above The Hoop, LLC. Basketball Camps are designed to help build the complete basketball player!
Camp Director: Jeff Santarsiero
Above The Hoop, LLC. basketball camps are directed by Geneva College Head Basketball Coach Jeff Santarsiero. For 21 years he has been a part of Geneva College Basketball Camps. Above The Hoop, LLC. basketball camps are the same quality and format as previous camps. Coach Santarsiero provides an energetic environment in his enthusiastic role as director and instructor.
- 21 total years coaching at Geneva College. Has 29 years coaching at the college level and is a 29 year veteran of summer camps
- Over 300 total career victories
- NCCAA National Coach of the Year in 2002-03
- Nyack College Hall of Fame as a player
- NCCAA National Basketball Champions
- Has helped take Geneva College to the NAIA National Tournament
Camp information
June 19 Team Camp - (Junior Varsity and Varsity High School teams) High school teams participate in a one day tournament against other outstanding competition from Ohio and Pennsylvania.
June 10-11 Guard/Post Shooting Camp - (Open to boys grades 4-12) The camp focuses on shooting form, approach and building confidence. The camp focuses daily on becoming a better shooter/post player.
June 28 - July 1 Day Camp - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Open to boys grades 4-12) The day camp is designed to offer individual and group instruction in all areas of the game. Work on defense, rebounding, dribbling, passing and shooting. Team competition, drills to build fundamentals. Lunch is included.
July 11-15 Overnite Camp - (Open to boys grades 4-12) Great camp for individual attention both on and of the basketball court. Focus on becoming a complete basketball player. 24-hr supervision with coaches and counselors. Team competition, lecture, film sessions and daily instruction in all areas of basketball
Above The Hoop Pledge
We pledge that everyone who attends the Above The Hoop, LLC. Basketball Camps:
- Will be taught the fundamentals of the game.
- Will be given help in the areas of character and good sportsmanship through basketball.
- Will have the best care in food, housing facilities and training rooms.
- Will have a chance to learn daily and play with those in his own age group.
- Will have entire Geneva Coaching staff, players and local HS coaches to learn from.
- Certified Trainer on site each day.
- Concession Stand on site.
