Multicultural Ambassadors
Our ambassadors are appointed to serve in the area of ethnic and cultural awareness to students so they can be taught how to develop an understanding of what it means to live and work together in the spirit of harmony. The ambassadors are members of the GC Life building team, Geneva’s Student Leadership Model, and should carry out the six core values listed below: Education – We desire to advance the academic mission of the College and to facilitate and support learning both inside and outside the classroom. Relationship – We believe that the intentional development of authentic relationships with the students that we serve better allows us to know their needs. Collaboration – We desire to work together with one another with the understanding that our willingness to do so will enhance our service potential. Servant Leadership – We desire to serve our community wholeheartedly with the understanding that leadership should be the greatest act of service. Communication – We desire to be an organization of leaders that values one another and those we serve enough to demonstrate clear and open communication. Character – We desire to be people who demonstrate strong character, a commitment to what is right, and the willingness to act in accordance with these beliefs. |
