STEM Visit Day

Geneva’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Visit Day is specifically designed for students in these intended departments. This day is constructed in a way that maximizes interaction with Geneva’s faculty, students and facilities. Attending this day provides hands on knowledge of what it is like to major in math, biology, physics, computer science, chemistry or engineering at Geneva.

Invited majors include math (with concentrations in applied math and math education), chemistry (with concentrations in chemical engineering, biochemistry and chemistry education), computer science (with concentrations in web technology, information systems, hardware, science/math programming), engineering (with concentrations in chemical, civil, mechanical, computer, electrical, and interdisciplinary), physics (with concentrations in physics and physics education), and biology (with concentrations in environmental biology, cardiovascular technology, cell and molecular biology, human biology, pre-med, pre-veterinary, pre-physical therapy, pre-physician’s assistant, environmental science, pre-nursing, medical technology and biology education). Our Teaching Certification Program is approved by Departments of Education in PA, OH, NJ, NY and other states.
The details of the day include:
- Experiencing laboratory facilities and equipment firsthand
- Meeting current Geneva students
- Touring Geneva's campus and meeting with admissions counselors
