Gary DundaHead Coach: Gary Dunda

When the Geneva College men’s soccer team reports for camp in August they will be greeted by a new face at the helm. Gary Dunda will take over a program that went 15-5 in 2010 and has won at least 12 games in each of the past three years. Dunda joins the Geneva College program after spending the last ten years as the head men’s soccer coach at Goucher College in Towson, Md.

Prior to his time at Goucher, Dunda had coaching stints as the women’s soccer coach at Missouri Valley and the associate men’s and women’s coach at Ottawa University. A graduate of Messiah College in 1997 with a degree in sport and exercise science, Dunda also will be joining the Physical Education Department as an instructor. In addition to his bachelor’s degree , Dunda obtained a master’s degree in sports administration from Emporia State University in 2001.

During his time at Messiah, Dunda played on the nationally recognized varsity team from 1993-96. A NSCAA National and Advanced Licensed soccer coach, Dunda has also had the opportunity to lead international soccer tours to Spain (2009), England and Scotland (2006) during his time as head coach at Goucher.

Dunda and his wife Heather have relocated to Beaver County along with their two children Madeline (8) and Wil (6).


Tim Edris

Tim EdrisEdris returns for his fourth season with the Geneva men’s soccer program. For the first two years he did an excellent job as a goalkeeper trainer, however, last season Edris stepped out of that role and served as a field coach. He was a four year player and graduate of five-time NCAA National Champions, Messiah College.

In addition to his responsibilities as a coach, Edris is the principal consultant for Emerging Leader Institute, a leadership consulting firm that offers organizational development in the Pittsburgh area. Edris earned a masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Geneva, where he also serves as an adjunct professor. He is a USSF licensed goalkeeper coach and trainer.

Tim, his wife Anna, and their daughter Marisol live in Beaver Falls.
