Coaching StaffHead Coach: Beginning his second season as the head men's soccer coach at Geneva, Todd Beall will look to build upon what seemed to be a rebuilding year in 2006. The Golden Tornadoes finished Beall's first year with an overall record of 3-12-3, but had the opportunity to gain valuable experience with a very youthful group. Youth will once again be served in 2007 as Coach Beall continues to mold his team into a perennial contender in the Presidents' Athletic Conference and restore the glory that has continued to follow Geneva's program. Geneva's rich tradition of ten play-off appearances in 12 years, five national tournament appearances and an NCCAA national tournament banner sets the example of what the Golden Tornadoes are striving for in the near future. A four-year starter at Cedarville University, Beall was also a two-year captain for the Yellowjackets during his playing days. He claimed NCCAA first team All-Regional and All-Tournament team honors during his playing career. Beall has also worked actively in the youth soccer ranks. He spent one year with the Cincinnati United Soccer League and five years with On Goal Soccer Ministries. He also spent one season coaching professionally for Tonka United Soccer Club. In addition, he has also served as Director of Away Camps for the Charlotte Eagles (USL Professional Soccer Team based in North Carolina) and has had coaching stints in England, Scotland, Brazil and Canada. Beall is also currently coaching with the Pittsburgh Strikers. Before coming to Geneva, he spent one year as assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs at Crown College in Minnesota. He holds his NSCAA Advanced National License. Beall graduated from Cedarville with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management and he is currently working on his master's degree at Geneva in Organizational Leadership. Beall and his wife, Annie, live in Beaver Falls. Contact Coach Beall by email at tdbeall@geneva.edu.
Peter Dryer Dryer is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Golden Tornadoes. His college career was played at Cedarville University, where he served as captain, and was voted to the NCCAA Midwest Region Second Team and the AMC South Division Second Team. While at Cedarville, he led the Yellowjackets to three NCCAA National appearances. Dryer holds the school record for most appearances. He currently holds his USSF D License and has worked with First Touch Soccer Camps, Athletes in Action and On Goal soccer ministries. Dryer and his wife, Kristin, recently moved to Beaver Falls from Kenosha, Wisconsin. In addition to coaching the Golden Tornadoes, Dryer is busy working on his masters degree in Higher Education from Geneva.
H.P. McCracken One of Geneva's all-time greats on the field has remained with the program in 2007 to begin his coaching career as an assistant under Todd Beall. H.P. McCracken graduated last year after completing an impressive career on the field. Listed as one of Geneva's top ten all-time goal scorers, McCracken secured NCAA All-American honors his junior year and AMC North Division First Team two years in a row. In addition to his assistant coaching duties, McCracken will begin substitute teaching throughout Beaver County this fall after graduating from Geneva with a history degree. McCracken and his wife Carly reside on College Hill.
Tim Edris Edris joins the staff as a first year goalkeeper coach. He was a 4 year player and graduate of 5 time NCAA National Champions, Messiah College. In addition to his responsibilities as a coach, Edris also serves as an adjunct professor at Geneva. He is a USSF licensed goalkeeper coach and trainer. He and his wife live in Beaver Falls. |
