MSOL Book/Article Review

in-the-plex.jpgIn The Plex: How Google Thinks, Works and Shapes Our Lives
By Steven Levy

In this well written and engaging book, Steven Levy tells the story of how Google's co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin revolutionized internet search, and created new ways for people to find information, to collaborate and to share that information. In this real life story, the author also tells an instructive story of leadership. As Page and Brin worked to realize their intended real change (they intend no less than to change the world), they gathered in meaningful relationships a group of bright young people and allowed them to work together toward mutual purposes. All serious students of leadership should read this book.
