Lead Like Jesus Celebration

dsc_0345.jpgDrs. Ken Blanchard and Henry Blackaby hosted the Lead Like Jesus Celebration on April 29.  This event was recorded live at North Way Christian Community Church in Wexford, PA. Speakers included: Ken Blanchard and Henry Blackaby, Phil Hodges, Rosey Grier, Bob Pike, Phyllis Hendry, John Stahl-Wert, Tommy Maddox, Estean Lenyoun, Charlie "Tremendous" Jones, Jim Amos, Bill Pollard and Betsy Sanders. Special music was done by Eric Lovett.  Tommy Maddox received the annual Servant Leadership Award presented by the Department of Leadership Studies.  Alumni and students attended the Celebration in lieu of our annual leadership conference. Leaders Serving Beaver County
The mission of Serving Leaders of Beaver County is to build and maintain an organization of Christian business persons where members can discover how, and encourage each other, to more fully conduct business successfully and in a Christ-like manner with the primary purpose of glorifying God and being a blessing to Beaver County.  Monthly small group meetings that focus on strategic planning begin the week of February 14.   Contact Keith Starcher at kostarcher@geneva.edu  for meeting locations.

The Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Breakfast
Dr. John Stahl-Wert, President of the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation and professor in the Department of Leadership Studies, invites leaders to attend one of the upcoming Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Breakfasts at PNC Park.

The Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Breakfast meets once each month to give local leaders the opportunity to meet one another and learn about leadership from a biblical worldview.

Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Academy

Dr. John Stahl-Wert, President of the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation and professor in the Department of Leadership Studies, announces the start of the Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Academy, which met for the first time July 7 at the Epiphany Association.

The formation of the Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Academy is in response to the requests of some Pittsburgh Servant Leaders Breakfast attendees for a more intensive and interactive study. The current subject of study is the text, Creation Regained, which can be purchased from Stahl-Wert for $10 per book.
