Brian Hanson in concert

Brian HansonBrian Hanson, pianist, composer and comedian, will perform on Friday, September 16 in John White Chapel at 10:10 a.m. Hanson’s concerts feature piano music, audience participation and humor while presenting a unique blend of handpicked traditional favorites from old time hymns and gospel songs, the best of contemporary praise and worship music, and original compositions.

Over the past 30 years Hanson has produced and composed numerous successful recordings including “The Prayer of Jabez,” which was number one for a combined 10 weeks on mp3.com’s Christian Easy Listening chart. As a music score composer for film and video, he has written and arranged the original music for the soundtrack of The WatchWORD Bible, the world’s first media Bible, which was recently featured on Living the Life on Fox Family Channel. His music can also be heard on the award-winning film, Prison to Praise.

Hanson produced the nationally televised talk show Worship Live on The Christian Network. He was also the channel’s network image producer, and his music has often been used in numerous television programs and films.
