Geneva College

Upcoming fall visit days

This fall, prospective students have a multitude of opportunities to visit and learn more about Geneva College.

We tell college-bound high school students that “the best way to learn about Geneva is to experience it for yourself,” says Assistant Director of Admissions Roger Blevins. “It's incredibly beneficial to talk to our faculty, staff, students and other people involved on campus to get that first-hand experience.”

Discovery Days are scheduled throughout the semester. They provide students with a time to meet current Geneva faculty and students related to their major, tour the campus, sit-in on a class and meet with coaches and staff from campus departments. For dates and more information regarding Discovery Days, click here.

Business Day—designed for students interested in the various business majors and concentrations—will take place on Saturday, September 29. This experience will provide prospective students with a first-hand look at what it is like to go through Geneva's business program. The day includes business simulation games, a tailgating picnic and the opportunity to meet local business leaders, students, faculty and alumni. For more information and to register, click here.

Students interested in science, technology, engineering and math will be able to attend Geneva's STEM Day on October 26. The day will allow students to tour Geneva's laboratory facilities and equipment, meet current students as well as tour the rest of campus. For more information, click here.

Geneva's Fall Open House will be on November 10. Students can tour the campus, meet current Geneva students, gain insight into campus life, explore one or more of our nearly 40 majors, meet with professors, sit-in on a class and discover ways to finance their education. Click here for more information.

Students can also schedule personal visits, which are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., throughout the year. These appointments are designed to be convenient and accommodate the student's interests. Select Saturdays are also available this fall on September 15, October 13, December 1 and December 8. Personal visits should be scheduled at least a week in advance if possible. To schedule a personal visit online, click here.
